Margarita Watermelon


1 watermelon, cut into triangles

1 c. tequila

1/3 c. triple sec

1/4 c. freshly squeezed lime juice

1/4 c. margarita salt, for garnish

Zest of 1 lime, for garnish


  1. Place watermelon in a large dish or baking sheet. Pour over tequila, triple sec, and lime juice. Let soak 1 hour.
  2. On a small plate, mix together salt and lime zest.
  3. Dip watermelon slices in salt mixture before serving.
