Nutribullet smart touch blender

The Nutribullet Smart Touch Blender is the newest launch in the brand’s line of affordable blenders.

The Nutribullet Smart Touch Blender Combo is a true desktop blender that can compete with top brands like Vitamix, Blendtec and Ninja.

We all know that Nutribullet started out as a manufacturer of personal blenders. Now they’ve come full circle, covering the entire blender market with this powerful machine.

The NutriBullet Smart Touch is a fairly bulky full-size blender. It’s a bit taller than the NutriBullet Blender Combo, and its motor base is fairly wide. You can store it in a spacious cupboard or on your kitchen counter. Nutribullet Smart Touch Blender has an attractive, elegant design and an illuminated sleek touchscreen display. In addition to elegant aesthetics, it also offers 4 expertly designed intelligent programs, 3 blending speeds and pulse control.

You can cook smoothies, purees, warm soups and frozen drinks with a simple touch.

The NutriBullet Smart Touch has excellent build quality. The bpa free plastic used for the cans appears to be high quality, and the gear on the motor base is sturdy because it is made of rubberized plastic and encased in metal. The touch surface of the motor base is easy to clean, and there are vents on it to dissipate heat from the motor. There are two tenacious feet and two suction cups on the underside that help prevent the blender from slipping while blending but don’t prevent you from moving the blender easily. The main jar comes with a two-piece lid with a spout for pouring and a safety pin that must be placed on the jar for the blender to work.

Main Jar/Beaker.

The NutriBullet Smart Touch Main Jar has a capacity of 64 ounces, although if you’re blending liquids, it should only be filled to 56 ounces. If you’re mixing solids, such as almonds for nut butter, it can be filled to 64 ounces. It also has a locking lid and easy-our spout – it’s pitcher perfect. The blender pitcher has a spout for easier pouring and can be cleaned by placing it on the top shelf of the dishwasher but should not be subjected to a “sanitizing” cycle. The blades are fixed inside and cannot be removed.

Additional Jar.

The NutriBullet Smart Touch comes with two additional jars. There is a 32 oz. jar with a maximum fill line of 24 oz. There is also a 20 oz “Travel Cup” with a maximum fill line of 16 oz. Each comes with a take-out lid and works with the included Easy Twist blade that screws onto the cans. The cans and lids can be top-rack dishwasher-safe, but the blade assembly cannot.

Blades

There are six blades inside the main jug of the NutriBullet Smart Touch blender that cannot be removed. They are not very sharp but still have a point, like a blunt knife. Also included is an Easy Twist blade for additional jars. The main jug can be top-rack dishwasher-safe, but the Easy Twist assembly should be washed by hand.

Lid

The Nutribullet Smart Touch Blender Combo is a versatile blender. It comes with a full-size 64-ounce (1.89-liter) jug and a pair of disposable cups for smoothies and milkshakes. With its powerful 1500-watt motor, it can make traditional smoothies and complex blending recipes.

The main NutriBullet Smart Touch jar features a Locking Pitcher Lid that uses friction to stay in place. It also has two clips that help secure it, which is an improvement over the NutriBullet Combo blender Locking Pitcher lid, which tends to pop out of its place. It has an English pin that has to be inserted into the main jug for the blender to turn on. There is a pouring spout and a center part that can be removed to use a tamping device or to add ingredients. It also serves as a two-ounce measuring cup. You can use your thumb to push down on the back of the lid so it pops off, and it’s really easy to remove.

The pitcher is perfect. The blender pitcher is ventilated, which means it can take hot foods like blend warm soups and purées as well as frostier favorites. Note that it doesn’t heat the mashed potatoes by itself. You have to heat the ingredients in a separate pot first.

By the way, never use smaller bowls to handle hot food. It’s best for smoothies, milkshakes, and other cold-cooked or room temperature recipes. Mixing hot ingredients in a closed container is a crash waiting to happen. This goes for all compact blenders.

Power Cord.

This NutriBullet Smart Touch power cord should be long enough to reach most outlets. Unfortunately, it has no compartment to store the cord when not in use.

What can you make with the Nutribullet Smart Touch Blender?

With a 1500 watt motor, it’s in the same league as any household blender from Vitamix and Blendtec. A sleek touchscreen display makes blending a breeze, with four preset blending options displayed on a light-up panel. It also has four speeds – pulse, low, medium, and high – for more precision. It also comes with a digital timer that counts down when using presets and shows time elapsed when using the speed controls.

That said, it is capable of the following – Smoothies, Hot Soup,  purees, Nut Butter, Baby Food, Sauces & Dips, Salad Dressing, Nut Milk, Cocktail, frozen drinks, Smoothie Bowls, Crushes Ice. The NutriBullet crushes ice to a fine snow-like texture in about 30 seconds and almost makes whipping up a pitcher of margaritas too easy.

With its high-performance motor and 1500 watts of power, this blender tackles the toughest ingredients without breaking a sweat.

The high-capacity vented pitcher is ready to blend sweet or savory ingredients into the silkiest of soups.

There are a few things the Nutribullet Smart Touch Blender Combo can’t do. It doesn’t have a flour chopping attachment or a dough kneading attachment. However, these features are not mandatory. It’s more of an optional feature that you’ll find in Vitamix blenders or Blendtec machines.

Is the Nutribullet Smart Touch Blender easy to use?

Operating the Nutribullet Smart Touch Blender

One of the main differences between the Smart Touch Blender and the Nutribullet Blender Combo is the touch controls. In addition, it now has more fancy quick blending settings.

At the touch of a button, you can make your favorite smoothie, soup, or any other recipe.

If you decide to mix things your way, you can also control it manually. You have 3-speed buttons at your disposal, as well as a pulse switch.

In addition, it also features a new ergonomic twister blade for single-serve cups. It’s easier to assemble and disassemble, plus it’s easier to drink from.

Cleaning is also easy. Most parts are dishwasher safe (except the twister blade). A pitcher is constructed of high-quality, BPA-free plastic (the norm for blender pitchers and glass versions are more susceptible to breaking) and is top-rack dishwasher safe (as is the lid).

Overall, the Nutribullet Smart Touch blender is very easy to use and maintain.

Is the Nutribullet Smart Touch Blender worth using?

Nutribullet’s Smart Touch Blender combo blender is an interesting product from the brand. This is their first experience with a powerful tabletop blender, and they’ve handled it brilliantly.

This smart blender makes it easier than ever to get the perfect blend at the touch of a button.

If you’re looking for an inexpensive, versatile blender with high functionality, you might want to get the Smart Touch Blender.
